A study has found that OVER 90% of volunteers believe that the skills and experiences they have gained through Scouting have been of relevance to their working or personal lives

“Watching young people make lifelong friends is so rewarding. The 25th Purley enables us to do this – it is great fun and I love being able to think of exciting activities for everyone to enjoy!”

“The quality of the scouting that we offer totally depends on our volunteers; and our volunteers depend on Scouting to teach them the skills they need!”

We love Scouting and give our time to it because it’s all about having fun, taking part in great experiences, amazing adventures and camps and helping our young people to do the same and to grow up to become the kind of adults that we can all be proud of.

We encourage our parents to give what time they can to help and support our Scout Group.

You may have several minutes or an hour or two to offer each week, month, year or as a one off – whatever time and skills you have to offer will be warmly welcomed.
